MEET OUR COACHES
Director of Sailing
Lisa has been with MRPF for over thirty years and is the heart and soul of the program. She began as a volunteer and has dedicated her time and energy to growing the program over the years. Prior to moving to Snead Island, Lisa spent her time working on sailboats and crewing for a variety of vessels in races around the United States, including competing in the Transpac on Windward Passage. When not working, you can find Lisa sailing her Windmill, Elvis, undertaking a home-improvement project, or traveling to visit her two sons.
Caroline grew up next door to MRPF, and had the honor of learning to sail in her youth under the instruction of Lisa Fath, Sailing Director. This helped foster a love of sailing and all things water-related, which inspired Caroline to return as a sailing instructor after graduating from the University of Florida in 2006 with a bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science. After a few seasons with MRPF, Caroline went on to study accounting before returning again as an instructor in the spring of 2019. Caroline heads up the Summer Camp and Recreational Sailing programs. When not working, you might find her paddling nearby mangrove tunnels or exploring America in her van, Greta.
